Presidente Restaurant is one of the most classic and traditional places of  italian home made cuisine in Caracas. They specialize in neapolitan food and although they also serve a great pesto sauce the not-to-be-missed meal are their pizzas, made at the moment and with the most fresh ingredients.

You can not ignore the place decoration, full of tables with cloths filled with white and red squares on them. They have a lot of fans inside if you prefer to be in a more intimate ambient, and you also have the choice to eat outside, if on the other hand, you look for a more relaxed and maybe bohemian kind of atmosphere.

We were recently on this spot and what a night we had in Caracas. The prices are reasonable and our tip is, if you want to have dinner, then you need to arrive early at night to get a nice table.

The best way to have a great sunday is listening to the perfect soundtrack and this cover of Paranoid Android from Weezer is for us the next cool cover. In less than 2 days posted on youtube the song already surpasses 200.000 plays.

This is the representation of heavy musicians playing a song that has nothing to envy the original.

With a japanese name taken from a beatle heiress, there’s a Venezuelan brand of accesories that is more than well informed in what’s going on in the fashion industry. It dedicates to create unique pieces for stylesetter girls, its name: YOKO.

After its undeniable success with snappy casual headbands, Yoko returned with on-trend necklaces popularized (and even some of them designed by) the socialite-actress Olivia Palermo. This collars have received the name of droolers or bib knecklaces and they are full of cool Upper East Side style.

The good thing about these oversized accesories is you can dress simple and still look great.

If you don’t know him, this is the best moment to follow the steps of Dallas Green, one of the most original and addictive voices in today’s music. Don’t let yourself be fooled by his carpet salesman face; his voice will make you fall in love with him and it is the perfect soundtrack for every season of the year.

The boy in question is Canadian and he is also known as one of the lead singers and guitarrists of the post-hardcore band Alexionfire. And although I have to admit I’m a big fan of Alexionfire, his project City and Colour surpasses all my expectations. Its all about folk, acoustic music and kindness; and this june 7th he will launch his third album called Little Hell. So you’re still on time to listen to his first efforts: Sometimes (2005) & Bring Me Your Love (2008).

I had the opportunity to listen Little Hell on a sneak peek just for insiders, and I confess that what I heard was completely unexpected, but I love it.
