Vintage de la Provincia was born like a concept created by Leandro Oro and Sandra Marini. They alongside other partners are in charge to recollect a unique selection of vintage clothes with a style that can be summarized in three words: election, fun and colors.

Vintage de la Provincia @ Buenos Aires

Although right now they’re located in Buenos Aires, the name comes from their trips to the Argentinian provinces. Furthermore, the project has also been shown in Berlin, Croatia, Milan, England and Chile.

Shoes at Vintage de la Provincia

Through events they create via Facebook, Vintage de la Provincia organizes the sales of each new batch of clothes. These sales are usually made in fairs that also offer good music and the perfect mood to go shopping. They don’t have a store and they don’t stay in a single place because the itinerant nature of its showroom is what makes the concept appealing. If you want to be in touch with the brand you should be subscribed to the Facebook account so they can fill yours with updates.

Inside you can find clothing, accessories, purses, etc. Some clothes are from prestigious designers and others are from local talents. The prices are affordable and they vary depending on the style, model or brand you choose (Gucci, Moschino, Balenciaga and others).

A bar born on the Internet where you can collide with authors and friends you’ve probably known thru the world wide web and where you can also find books and magazines that are made and distributed using the Internet.

Orsai Bar 09

Orsai started as a blog, then it became a literary magazine, and since October 2011 it’s also a pizzeria/bar/library, where the entire online community stablished by the Argentinian writer Hernán Casciari, come to life everyday.

Orsai Bar 05

Casciari is better known as the responsible of the first novel/blog of the world (www.mujergorda.bitacoras.com) that became a book and also a theater play in Argentina. The blog is online since 2003 (www.orsai.bitacoras.com) and it has let him interact with thousands of readers across the world creating a sort of literary congregation.

Orsai Bar 10

Since 2011 Orsai is also a magazine edited by Casciari where well known writers publish their work without intermediaries. It doesn´t accept ad campaigns or money from other sources and the readers serve as the distribuitors.

The bar was inaugurated as a part of their fourth edition release event. Inside you can join writers and readers alike that want to  drink some wine while they read something. They also mix themselves with tourists and local people who are always searching for a cozy corner around San Telmo.

Orsai Bar 06

Since October 2011 Orsai Bar works as a launching platform for musicians, writers and artists to show their proposals to the general public.

Orsai Bar 08

A great underground place: Friends, pizzas, drinos, books, Internet and nobody in between.

Inside the neighborhood of San Telmo, Buenos Aires, under the facade of a 1900′s building lies a store that sells “anything” or like its name screams: “Cualquier Verdura”.

Cualquier Verdura @ Buenos Aires

It’s all about an excentric house/store that shows articles on sale while you walk throughout its sections: bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc. For example, you can find clothes within the bedroom, stews in the kitchen, a TV in the living room and so forth, making the walk-thru a very funny experience.
