Morning Mug is a coffee cup that wakes up only when we serve hot liquids in it, when it’s empty the vessel shows a sleeping face with closed eyes. The idea of the cup is to show how we look when we are waking up before and after ingesting our daily dose of caffeine.

The creative mind behind this mug for awakening infusions is the designer Damion O’Sullivan, who invites us to open our eyes each day with the pleasure that gives us a cup of coffee … and even tea.

What: Nescafe´s coffee Straw

Nescafe Straw

The last invention in the world of instant coffee is a straw filled with (obviously) coffee. Nescafe, the same ones who made us addicts with his pre fabricated cappuccino machines, are now cuddling the workaholics around the world, the ones who doesn’t have a minute to waste or to swallow their own saliva.

NesCafe Straw

How does it work? You only have to take your straw out of your pocket; open it up and immediately put the content on hot or cold water. Remove and  drink it up or you can sip it if you like using the original straw. You don’t even have to add sugar to the mix. Milk is optional.

People from other countries outside Venezuela won´t understand why something so mainstream as Starbucks is on a coolhunting page.

The answer is simple: in Venezuela we don´t have a Starbucks coffee shop anywhere, despite the desires of snob people, lovers of The Devil Wears Prada and frenetic adolescents, fans of Gossip Girl, and any workaholic who would love to walk around Altamira (a centric and cosmopolitan district of Caracas) with his smartphone in one hand and a caramel frapuccino on the other.

For this kind of wildlife-city-fauna, and for the rest too, CHP has discover the point where you can find Starbucks on a bottle. It´s price is Bs.F. 40 (around 10 US dollars). You can forget for a while the price is four times bigger than a regular Coffee in Venezuela and feel like a new yorker while you drink it.

Option B: If you don’t want/can’t spend a dime, you can always show your gastronomical talents and make a frapu-DIY: here´s the recipe:: Make a Starbucks
