Do you like Martinis like James Bond and you want to make them perfectly well so you can play 007 in your living room, but you don’t want to use those old measure cups you have in the kitchen? No problem dude, the new MasterMixer is here kudos to PushStart. With this new electronic mixer you can make tons of drinks recipes in record time with a little help from its convenient app. Are you still confused?…let me explain to you a little bit better how the MasterMixer works.

The mixer comes with an app you can download to your trusty Smartphone and it will tell you what type of drinks you need to create the cocktails you want to make, from Manhattans and even Gimlets, this app has all the drinks you can imagine. Once you choose a drink, the app connects directly to the mixer and it guides the user step-by-step on how to make it.

There’s no need to have old school measuring cups or to be aware of how much liquid you pour in. Did you put too much of something into the mix? Don’t panic, the mixer will automatically reset all the measurements depending on how much of something you put inside. The mixer comes with double walls so you won’t feel temperature changes in your hands, its interior is removable and  it’s also dishwasher safe.

“The idea of the resurgence is what fascinates me the most”. Those were the words from the famous french architect Jean Nouvel when he was asked to take the wheels of the reopening of the old catalan Moritz Beer Factory under a concept that could merge the gastronomic and the cultural side.

30 years after it closed, this factory which can be found in the crowded Ronda de Sant Antoni in downtown Barcelona, has opened its doors once again since last december after a harder restoration work. The final result is an awesome space where the antique design touches elbows with industrial and modern brushes, pushed by an illumination game full of warm colors, and elements made with metal and glass.

Moritz, as a brand, has been around since 1856, thanks to its excellent ad campaigns and overall image. This is exactly what decors the walls inside the factory: their old, but vanguardists ads.

Ounces and ounces of fresh beer without pasteurizing are already running through the veins of this new gastronomic center. They don’t have just the brewery, they also offer a restaurant with a wide selection of “tapas” & catalan dishes in honor to the place that gave birth to its founder: Louis Moritz.

Next in line they’ll have a wine bar, a fancy restaurant, a store that will sell memorabilia, handmade bread, and even a museum. The place also has spaces that will be used to show expos and events. The last event was called “The Radiohead Night” where they showed the Life From The Basement Concert inside their old cellars.

Extra tip: You need to go inside the restrooms. On the way you’ll see the interior of the factory and you need to cross a transparent bridge just before you can go into their minimalistic restrooms. What a trip!

The wine revolution has begun in Czech Republic with a glass that changes our habits. It’s ideal for snob people, lovers of this drink made with fermented grapes, or anyone who wants to break the routine when the toast time arrives.

The rEvolution Wine Glass is hand made and it’s bringing us a new way to drink red wine and even brandy. The content is poured while the glass is horizontal, changing the typical vertical way to hold a glass while we’re drinking.

The idea behind this design, elaborated by Martin Jakobsen, is to create a creative piece that can have the functionality of your everyday glass of wine. Cheers!

Morning Mug is a coffee cup that wakes up only when we serve hot liquids in it, when it’s empty the vessel shows a sleeping face with closed eyes. The idea of the cup is to show how we look when we are waking up before and after ingesting our daily dose of caffeine.

The creative mind behind this mug for awakening infusions is the designer Damion O’Sullivan, who invites us to open our eyes each day with the pleasure that gives us a cup of coffee … and even tea.
